Great Practice Book

I love this book. I love the break down of the words. I love the way it leads me step by step through suffix, prefix, root word, combing form, etc. The end of unit practice, games, matching, puzzles, CD and flash cards are very helpful. The repetition required, the charts, case studies, the labeling is all also very helpful.

Excellent resource

I am required to use this text for my fully online medical terminology class, and I've been very impressed. It's actually a very well-designed system, which focuses heavily on all aspects of integrated learning.
It features lots of repetition while building on previously learned knowledge, and focuses on making said information relevant. You end up learning and retaining a very large amount of information without needing to rely on flashcards or cram studying.

Great for online learning.

The learning method that this book uses is different and interesting. I liked it since I used it as part of an online course and was basically teaching myself. I rented this book from apex_media which unfortunately was missing two entire chapters.
